Hello,

I currently have this PSU, http://raidmax.com/psu/rx_730ss.html
and because of budget reasons I'm planning on getting one GPU now and another one later on for crossfirex or sli, but I'm not sure what to pick out of the r9 270, r9 270x, or 7870. The main problem is it seems the PSU comes with 2 6+2 pcie connectors and the 2 latter cards require them both. I was wondering if there was a way I could create 2 more 6 pin connectors?

Solution
This is a rather low quality power supply, and will likely not be able to crossfire any of these cards. Typically a power supply of this wattage would be able too, but this one does not even have a qualified power efficiency rating and would likely fail. One card would be fine no matter which card you were to choose, all the way up to the 290x though.

Sorry if this is bad news for you, but it's better than you finding out the hard way and possibly damaging part of your computer

Thanks for the reply,
In that case I'm probably just going to wait a bit until I can get my hands on a gtx 770, its not too much more expensive but has a bit more power than the other cards I was looking at.
