There is a chemical smell present that smells like paint and my psu recently made a loud fan noise after a few seconds of turning off note this happened once today

Pc boots normally
No beeps
No BSODs
Fans are normal

Im getting a AX 760 soon so should I not use my PC until the AX 760 is installed when I use my pc I run

UDK
Milkshape3d
Rpg makervx and vxace
Adobe fireworks and photoshop

But not all at once

My recommendation is don't even try to boot with something called the Aywun Megapower . I would not trust it to power a toaster much less a gaming PC. The odds are that it can't provide anywhere near 500 watts except maybe at peak and you need 500 watts continuous for a GTX 760. You truly risk damaging components.

You only need a good quality 500w unit for that system though. I'm sure not saying don't get the AX 760 as it's one of the best power supplies on the market but you don't need that much power or that high quality so you could get by with a much cheaper unit.
