APUs and Integrated Graphics

Concerns an HP DV7 laptop. Bought replacement Mobo for laptop whose Graphics (A6 APU with Radeon 6520G) had failed. Noticed that new board had originally been configured with an A8, so bought an A8-3510MX assuming same Integrated Graphics. Couldn't get it to load and run GPU drivers successfully so returned it. Have now noticed on HP specs that it claims an A8 with HD 6755G2

BUT I can find no such beast, can only find A8 3510s with HD 6620g
Confusing to say the least, but is it safe to assume that as far as Drivers are concerned the APU graphics should match the mobo Graphics chip??

Ah, so either APU should work with the Discrete GPU provided it's a 6750M. I've actually got the laptop running after a fashion with the A8 installed, but the only driver it will accept is a basic M'soft for the APU's 6620G, so confirms that the Discrete card is kaput. I'll wait and see what results I get when the Mobo is returned. Dealing with China can be cost effective, but comms are often very difficult!
