I was expecting a leap in performace, going from AMD to Intel. And in general, that is what happened. But I do not appear to be getting what I should be out of it. I have a CM Hyper 212X, so cooling is not the issue. I am not getting a stable frame rate in games, even minecraft does not run without suffering from low frame rates every so often. Altering the graphics settings appears to do absolutely nothing. I am thinking that my motherboard (being one that is less-recommended) is doing this. Here's my specs.

MSI GD-65 Gaming 1150 socket
i5 4670k (not overclocked)
CM Hyper 212x
CM Haf x
2 x 8 gb G.Skill trident X (1600)
EVGA GTX 670 (stock)
Kingston 60gb SSD (windows)
Seagate barracuda 1Tb HDD (games)
Corsair TX650

My friend is running lesser specs than me (i5 2500 or something, and extreme 4 MOBO and a GTX 660), but not suffering these issues in the SAME GAMES.
