Hi guys, I recently purchased a new PC and so far it's working very well, but unfortunately I am having a problem getting the set up to work with dual screens. The specs are as follows:
3.8GHz AMD FX 6200 Six Core Processor
16GB of DDR3 1333Mhz RAM
2TB Hard Drive Storage Space
AMD Radeon HD 6670 2GB Graphics Card
Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 Motherboard & Drivers
Standard 450W PSU
Vibox USB3 Gaming Case
It can pick up anything connected via VGA, but it does not detect the DVI monitor. I noticed however that while the PC has a 6670 graphics card, when I open up DXDIAG it shows up as R7 200 series. Could there be some sort of conflict between the onboard and external GPU? I brought this PC online and as a result I am unable to open up the case and see for myself. Is there anything you can suggest?
On a side note, I have found that the second monitor connected via dvi does not even show up on device manager. The DVI is connected through a VGA to DVI adaptor. When I take the monitor of the adaptor and connect the VGA straight to the graphics card, it works just fine, but the graphics card only has one VGA port and as such, one monitor must be connected via the adaptor. (If it's worth noting, the GPU also has a HDMI port)
Thanks
