Can my PC support an Dual Core cpu??

I wanted an dual core CPU because I want to play company Of Heroes 2 and GTA 4 smoothly D:But,i doest know can my computer support an dual core...

my pc cpu is:

Name:AMD Athlon64 LE-1660
Package:Socket AM2(940)
Specifications:AMD Athlon(TM) Processor LE-1660
Motherboard:WMCP61M

It does support dual cores but im not sure what the best dual core it will support.

'Athlon 64 X2 with Dual Core technology up to 5600+(89W)' came up so if you can find a Athlon 64 x2 5600+ which is also 89W then it should work.

You should be able to find them in the second hand market pretty easily.

You will need to put new thermal paste on the CPU when you get it to make sure it doesn't overheat so order some along with a new CPU, there are a ton of guides on the web on applying it.
