Hello, :D

We're paying for an internet speed up to 20mbps (time warner)

our wireless devices gets around 14-16mbps except one of my desktop.

My desktop have this wireless card its giving me really poor connection. the most i can get is 3mbps and the lowest ive gotten is 0.2mbps. i currently have this desktop connected through a shared internet via ethernet which gives me up to 16mbps

is the wireless card just really that bad which needs replacement or is there a way for me to fix it?

i have windows 8.1 64 bit if thats any help lol
and this is our router/modem

thanks.

You may want to consider replacing that card with a decent n wireless card, will likely fix/help the issue.

Not a problem, the router you currently have is N, so you might as well take advantage of the better speed and range offered. Good Luck!
