Doesn't really matter.

What's your budget, and what games will you be playing at what resolution?

Also, need to know what PSU and CPU you got.

Get a 780Ti, it usually works better than the 290X at higher resolutions, personally looks nicer and has better OC capabilities, and comes with GeForce Experience.

And the stock cooler is actually great for a stock cooler, the AMD 290X stock cooler isn't the best, you can cook your dinner while gaming on a 290X. However if you go with aftermarket cooling, it's definitely better for the money, if the price didn't rise too much that is.

That's a lot of money. Get a nice overclocked GTX 780 and save a bit. It will max those games at 1080p.

Your PSU is good to run two cards so if your motherboard supports SLI, you can pair with another 780 in the future if you need a boost.

GTX 780 with a decent cooler and in the future another GTX 780 for a nice performance increase.
