after putting together my new pc i get no picture on my monitor and a constant three beeps. One long beep and two shot beeps right after. I have an Asus M5A97LE R2.0 motherboard, an XFX R7870 2GB graphics card, a Roswill stallion series RD700 power supply, An AMD 8 core processor, and an 8gb stick of ram

One long and 2 short beeps indicate a memory error.

A Clean the Golden Fingers of memory module
B Clean the memory slots
C Leave only one memory stick to test
D If convenient, please change different memory to test again

test it first if is a motherboards problem, disconnect everything, and leave only power and the monitor connected to the board (video card unplugged), only 1 stick of ram (test it in all the slot) and pull out the battery for 30 secs and put it again, the turn on, if it boot, then maybe is the video card slot or the video card
