I am building a new mini-itx system and I am set on all of my parts except for the processor. I am using socket 1150 and I want to only run intel (no APUs). Since my budget is limited, I would like to just get a G3220 for now and use it until I can get $250 for a i5 4440 or 4670k plus a new cooler.
Some people say I'm waisting my money and I should wait, while others say that this Pentinum will preform fine for a while. I will be doing some 720p gaming when I get my graphics card, but for as long as I have this pentinum it will be just a general use system.
I need to make this order before midnight tonight, as taxes will be changing and deals will be gone.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

It makes no sense to buy a temporary CPU, just be patient and spend those 60$ on more RAM/better CPU/better GPU. There's not much point in slowly buying individual PC parts (it seems like you're doing that), because by the time you get everything the parts you bought in the beginning might be out of date or you could've bought them for less. Just keep all your money and buy everything together when you have enough.
