Hello community, I want to know as the tilte says what components i should buy for a new gaming pc.
First of all im not a hardcore gamer but it would be nice to play at full hd resolution.
I have already got fromm a very kind friend the graphics card, the psu, the case, the hdd and a blu ray disc burner.
So the questions are what mobo, cpu and ram should i get? and should i go for amd or intel platform?
I got a short budget arround the 300-400 usd

Models and specs of the parts i already got:

Graphics card: ECS Nvidia geforce gtx460 1gb gddr5 256bit
HDD: Seagate barracuda 1T 7200 rmp
PSU: 800 watts
Case: Coolermaster mid tower ATX
Optical drive: Pioneer Blu ray disc burner

Thanks in advance for ur answers

8 gb ram will put you back about 70$, any 2x4gb kit should be fine 1600mhz
until you hit i7 range amd offers better value. fx 8350 (190$), and an asus motherboard (m5a99fx pro) 130$ would suit you fine

You have the budget for hi end. An unlocked quad core haswell 4670k , a decent board and 6 gig of ram will cost about 330 quid.Oh, sorry i fort i saw £ not $
