Hi I just upgraded my cpu and mobo, and plan to upgrade to a asus gtx 770. Currently I have an intel i5-4670k Asus z87-A mobo OCZ agility 3 ssd 8gb of 1600mhz gkill ripjaws x Like 7 fans Antec Keuhler 620 cpu cooler a 1tb HDD and an ULTRA LSP-650 I know this power supply I have is junk, I found that out after I built my first build, and even though I have replaced almost everything from that initial build I still have that junk power supply. Now the evga 750b is currently on sale with rebates for 50 bucks which is super cheap, and the gold certified full modular i can get for 75 or so. Now I just bought the new mobo and processor and I am buying a gtx 770 so my wallet is hurting a bit now. I was wondering if these were good enough PSU's to power all of that or if I should just suck it up and buy a better quality one. The Antec hcg 620m I can get from around 70 bucks but I'm concerned it won't be enough power and the cable selection is pretty poor. Now Memory express has the Antec High current pro for 110 which is pretty good but at the same time Id like to spend less money. Any recommendations? I don't think I plan to SLI in the future because then I would need atleast 850w I think which is just too pricey for me and it would be a long long way off. I don't want to have to buy a new psu for awhile.
So the Antec 620 even with its limited cabling options would be fine? I live in canada so prices are a little scewed. If I plan to overclock the 770 or 4670k or both would I need more then 620?
Ahh yeah if you are in Canada those deals will not apply. 600 watts is fine even with overclocking. The Antec should be fine unless you know the cables won't fit with your case or something. Even then cable extensions are pretty cheap.
