Hi there,
Looking at these CPUs for a budget gaming comp, let me know what you guys think here.

i3-4130 - about 130$

Amd Fx 8120 3.1GHz AM3+ 16MB 8-Core Processor - about 160

AMD FX-8150 Zambezi 3.6GHz Socket AM3+ 125W Eight-Core 160

Intel Core i5 3350P Quad Core Processor LGA1155 3.1GHZ Ivy Bridge 6MB 165

If anyone feels like giving a hierarchy here on the price ratio also that would be cool, or any alternative suggestions in this range :D

Thanks!

With that kind of budget, you should look at relatively better CPUs.

x1xx series of CPUs from AMD are garbage, avoid them.

My suggestion would be to get a FX8320.

Not only would the 8320 be a much better choice the price is about the same.

Just curious... seems to be a consensus on the 8320, but everywhere else I look people suggest the i5 for gaming, any thoughts on that?

both the i5 3570k and the i5 4670k are both really powerful cpu's with alot of processing power in it. I think the nvidia cores are abit more reliable and stronger than amd cores, but hell thats just my opinion.

I was looking at the 3350P just due to the budget constraints, do you feel the same for that one as well?

Sorry to rekindle this thread, just about to make my purchase and was wondering if you'd say the same about the 3350P against the 8320 AMD?

The 8320 will be better than most CPUs, the comparable Intels are the i5-3570k and the 4670k. So unless you have the extra money for a 3570k/4670k and a z77/z87 board, go with the 8320.
