hey gusy!

This is my first time posting on here i need help! i have the
Qosmio X875-Q7380 17.3" Laptop Computer - Black Widow

VVSPECS VV

Intel Core i7-3630QM (TURBO BOOST)
12GB DDR3-1600 RAM
(2) 500GB 7,200RPM Hard Drive
17.3" Widescreen TruBrite LED-backlit Display
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670M with Optimus
10/100/1000 Network
Intel 802.11b/g/n Wireless
Bluetooth version 4.0
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

i get really low frame rates on BF4 and Dragon Age orgins the crazy thing is it does not happen all the time! sometimes it will play perfect 40+ fps all on mid settings... but then randomly drop! and when i say low fps i mean low 10 and under fps! for example i can turn it on now and it will play perfect! lets say i turn it off after 20 or 30 min of game play and come back 2hr later my frame rates will be all crappy what could it be? i have the lates gtx 670 driver and my drivers are all up to date! thanks for the help!

I am not sure. I cant imagine it playing at full cpu and gpu when it is getting low, it would die without being able to power down. See if charging it up properly makes a difference? If it THEN plays fine when it is plugged in you will have your first answer.

I'm at work now and on my break it was 100% charged and i was getting really bad fps on both games (BF4 and Dragon age) so full charge did not make a difference. when i get home i will plug it into the wall and try that out. ill get back on and up date you. anything else you think i should try if that does not work? Thank you!

LOL it does this thing is a dragon! under 45 min! But what you are telling me makes perfect sense! its impossible for a laptop to run all that heavy hardware on a battery.. when i go back to play after a couple hr off of the game the laptop is almost dead so maybe it just does not have the energy like you said how this works! im new in the pc gaming world.. do you think my spec are good in this system? sorry for the newb question (ps4 gamer lol)
