Maxwell: Can we expect tri-monitor gaming without sli?

So, here's my question.
What kind of multi monitor support can we expect from the 800 series?

If I bought an 870 would I be able to tri-monitor, skyrim, D3, sc2, mmos, and many other games. Not many graphics intensive games? I'm going mostly too improve my immersion with this, than overall graphical view. But, I'd rather not lose current settings either with single monitor.

I'm curious what generally I can expect for this from Maxwell. It seems given their high amounts of memory to be predicted in these GPUs they're being designed ready for 4k monitor use. So, I just assume the tri-monitor setups would be doable with "some" games without sli.

Your thoughts?

Ramble: -- I start to ramble, lol.
edit: If we're lucky (LOL) and a good affordable line up of 4k arrives late next year in the 21:9(?) style I'm curious if i'd be better off waiting for something of that nature?

Given that we're already seeing curved phones, I can imagine it's only a matter of time until that concept arrives to the desktop enthusiasts and we start seeing "much" longer and curved monitors. To basically have the tri-monitor setup in a single monitor. No more bezel in the way!! I can imagine when these days come we'll start seeing a full "circle" setup for the super enthusiast.

I'd love to see a monitor like that something about 60-72" long curved accordingly to give a surrounding feel. Probably have it slightly taller at 20-22" tall. Give this display a 4k and 8k option.
This would be a glorious piece. I will be right at work putting it together ;P. Okay I should stop rambling.

Maxwell still doesn't have some safe, liable leaks, but by what is leaked, definitely, especially the 880, that thing should own triple monitor 1080p gaming. I mean, current overclocked cards get over 180fps in high or medium settings, which means playable FPS for triple monitor.

I'm still dealing with my 560, so I'm definitely pumped for the 800 series. Even if they don't have the power we're expecting. I'm sure it'll be a sufficient boost from current cards to get a good 1080p tri monitor setup from a single card. I have seen memory values really high as well. 880m with 8GB. Seems pretty crazy. But, if these cards are too support 4k natively it makes complete sense.

I would like to see about 6 to 8 GB of VRAM if I want my 1440p tri-monitors or 4k gaming...
