Hi guys,

I'm getting max 1024x768 with Asus U30s (2nd gen. Intel HD3000 & GT520m) and native 1080p with my MSI GE60 (3rd gen. Intel HD4000 & GTX660m) on 22" Acer G225HQV.

(Both vga. The monitor has only vga input.)

OS' are Win7. Drivers are updated.
Couldn't understand why i don't get FHD with Asus laptop.

Any idea ???
Thanks in advance....

The limitations are built in to the on-board video "card".
Basically it comes down to the difference in HD3000+GT520 vs HD4000+GTX660 capabilities.

Maybe, but on Intel spec sheets, both intel hd3000 and hd4000 are capable up to 2048x1536 vga outputs.
Plus, I try to run only on gt520m but result didn't change...
