I am basically wanting the two screens to display two different things (one would have my e-mail up and the other I would use for other work related thinks, however I am always able to view my email on one of the screens). I want my mouse and keyboard to connect and my mouse to move from screen to screen. How do I set this up? I have all of the equipment already. Thanks!

Is this two screens from the laptop, or two discreet machines (laptop and desktop) ?

[It is two screens from the laptop. I got it now to where the mouse does scroll from the laptop screen to the PC screen (no computer attached, just a computer monitor), but for some reason I am not able to see anything but my wallpaper on the PC screen. I want to be able to interchange programs between the two screens (i.e. Outlook on one screen and a different program on my laptop screen, while the mouse moves between both screens.

You should be able to drag a window across to the other screen. Most current applications remember where they were last, and open again in that same place.
