Any suggestions for a headset ?

Hi,

I have a 3 years old Plantronics Gamecom 367. He is still functionning and has no scratch, but I'm searching a new headset that have better sound quality and especially, that kills the surrounding noise that I find disturbing when I game.

Any suggestions ?

I have between 100-150$ and live in Canada

I searched on the web for reviews and critics seems pretty negative about that particular headset. I don't know. I want other suggestions in order to compare.

I really want something that will cancel the noise while gaming.

That's weird, one of the reasons why I bought it was the positive reviews. Tom's Hardware seemed to like it. Now I know for a fact though that if you want to spend 2x the money both Razer and Turtle beach have true 7.1 headsets that you could go with. As far as totally isolating your from noise, I don't think you're going to really find that without something like what the sony models do by producing pink noise along with the actual audio.
