I'm looking at different water cooling systems to cool my Intel i7-4770k CPU and I came across an issue. I'm wondering if it's possible to get a Kraken x60 into a Cooler Master Haf X? By possible I mean is there some modding I can do to fit it for example: Adding new holes for screws. On another note, if you have recommendations for a liquid CPU cooler, feel free to share! :)

The top of a HAF X has room for a 360mm rad. Not sure if it has holes for a 280 but I'm sure you could make one fit.

It does not have holes for a 280, but I want to know if I can easily add those holes and it will still fit or if it is too large for the top of the HAF X.

I already checked the list and that's what led me to wondering if it is just a matter of adding a few screw holes to the case.

If you have a drill its an easy mod, if not ghetto mount the rad with some zip-ties.

if you mod do it with nothing in the case. tape the drill spots inside and out. make sure you remove all metal bits when done. magnets work good for this. so does a good shake and compressed air.
