fps drops in everything all of a sudden

hi guys i've been experiencing fps drops in all games, the past few days....
i haven't installed anything new except for the alienware tactx keyboard software yesterday, but the problem existed before that.
-I haven't overclocked and i've dusted out the cpu fan, gpu, etc.
-ran malwarbytes and the root kit scanner its all clean

Halo ce stutters and lags
deus ex human revolution lags so hard its like im running a pentium 2

i've tried system restore but no success.
only option left is to re-install windows

specs

psu: 750w
cpu: amd phenom II x6 1055t
ram: 12gb
gpu: xfx radeon hd 7770 ghz edition


help please....

First I'd try a reinstallation of your Graphics Drivers

Do a chkdsk or Hard Drive scan (check for bad sectors), check if there are any anomalies with S.M.A.R.T results using a program like CrystalDisk or HDDscan

(I had a similar problem and it was caused by a bad drive, you could buy another drive of the same volume and clone it, if it works fine then your current drive would be a defective drive, and if not, then reinstalling Windows would be your last resort, it'd still be nice to have a clone copy of your current contents though)

Also be sure to monitor your CPU temperatures (use coretemp) and GPU temperature (use MSI Afterburner) under gaming load so we can determine if any thermal...
