So I'm building a new comp. Been narrowing my choices down. I'm thinking of going with a gtx760-780ti (dont know yet) and i5 4670k.

I've got another £100 and I need a new mobo.

So with £100 in mind, whats a good motherboard to buy in that price range?

I've already had a look a the Gigabyte H87-HD3

If you can extend ur budget a bit, I'd highly recommend Asus Maximos HERO, you wont regret it.

i recommend the MSI Z87-GD65 , though i have found with this mobo in the LGA1150 socket, a good cooler is hard to find, if you chose this i recommend the coolermaster V8GTS

I wont pretend to know what the difference between these boards. So wouldn't anybody recommend the Gigabyte, and if not, why?
Somebody also recommended this ASROCK 970 extreme to me: http://www.amazon.co.uk/ASRock-970-EXTREME3-Extreme3-Mo...

Any thoughts?

And happy new year everyone!

The motherboard you linked to is for AMD CPUs. So yeah, that one won´t work.

If I were you I´d just go through the Z87 motherboard lineup of the big players like Asus, MSI, Gigabyte and Asrock and see what they have that is in your budget.
Then compare the features of each one and make your decission on which features suits you more.
