Did I win the "chip lottery"?

Running FX8320 at 4.4 on 1.36v, idles at 28c. No game is bringing it over 45c during intense sessions.

Obviously I can bring this higher still... gonna tweak for a couple hours. Anyone have any good suggestions or predictions?

My 8350 went 4.8 @ 1.35V and never broke 50C using IBT (Intel Burn Test).

I would say you just have an average chip. Depending on the cooler, it will likely do 5.0 Ghz @ 1.45 - 1.55V. Just like nearly every other 83xx.

Hmm, I've seen 8320's having problems getting past 4.4.

Im at 4882mhz @ 1.38 volts right now :D



Im noticing as you go higher and higher (linear), you have to add more and more (exponentially) voltage to keep it stable O.O

This is probably more than I need... But Im enjoying it haha
