We just got a new computer in our house a couple of days ago. It is custom built and hooked up with an ethernet cable. Ever since we have connected it we have been able to surf the internet just fine. But when it came to download some programs and virus protection it was very slow and would cut out after about 20 seconds. This is very strange considering all the other devices in our home work perfectly. If it didn't cut out then it would go about 5kbps.
The computer is running windows 7 64bit.
