My PC is a Dell Inspiron 660 and I was wondering if it is possible to have it overclocked safely without it burning out or anything.
My specs:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3330 CPU @ 3.00GHz 2.99 GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 8.00 GB (7.88 GB usable)
System type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor, Windows 8.1

I would say absolutely on record you CANNOT use this method. Check in your bios and see what dell has allowed. If you can move the turbo multipliers upwards, that is great. If not,as i suspect, you are stumped.

The 'front side bus ' in your case is the base clock, standard setting 100.
It is linked to the pci-E bus, and there is no way of speeding up the base clock without speeding up the pci-E bus. overclocking the baseclock can damage the integrated graphics chip, the memory controller, and
damage your graphics card. It can also introduce system instability. If you want to chance any of this for a maximum 6% overclock, dont say you werent warned? Its a 400$ system you are running there.

I got it all under control take it easy. My mother board is: Intel P75/B75. Just need to find the clock generator for it. Can you find it for me? It's pretty difficult.
