hey everyone, earlier (about 3 hours ago, i finished puting together my very first Custom PC. i intended to play many games with it but from my current experience with it i am very confused as to why it is performing the way it is.

The specs are okay, so i have been told... i asked many people about the parts and if they would be good for what i needed and there was a positive responce to them.

The Specs -
Motherboard - ASUS M5A97 R2.0
GPU - ASUS R9 280X
CPU - FX 8320
RAM - 8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz
PSU - 600W Corsair CX600M
HDD - Seagate Barracuda 500GB (I intend to change the HDD)

anyway, when i looked at many benchmarks for the R9 280X i saw that it was Maxing out many games at more than playable framerates, such as Battlefield and Tomb Raider and maybe Crysis, however the only two games i have played on it so far is Arma 2 and Minecraft... haven't had much time to download as my internet is not the best.

on minecraft i was getting between 50 - 65FPS which was ok i guess but i thought there woudl be better frames on that.

on Arma II i joined a Multiplayer game just to see if it would run and it seemed terrible, so i left and Ran the Benchmark Scenario and got an average of 15FPS.

Now, why the hell am i getting 15FPS on Arma II?
what have i not done that i need to do?

I have a feeling it is something really stupid and easy to fix but im pretty new to this stuff and have no clue.

"internet is not the best" - meaning my internet is not the best around.
"haven't had time to download" - meaning i haven't had much time to download other games.
this is built by me.

...and, i knew it would be something stupid that i forgot to do. thank you.
