Need help choosing a cooler/possibly other things

Hey guys,

I just finished building my first system. The problem is that I'm overheating (I think that's the issue, system is shutting off on Far Cry 3 during graphic heavy cinematics)

Here is my system build and please let me know what I need to do to make this never ever ever ever happen again.

Mobo: ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z
CPU: AMD 8-CORE FX-8320 3.5G 8M
GPU: AMD Radeon 7970 3g
Memory: 8 GB [4 GB X2] DDR3-1600 Memory Module - G.Skill Ripjaws X
Hardrive: 1 TB HARD DRIVE -- 32M Cache, 7200 RPM, 6.0Gb/
PSU: 650 Watt -- NZXT HALE82N-SI / 80+ Bronze
Cooling system: 3 fans, including what the cpu came with (I have a feeling this is my problem)

Thank you so much.

More about choosing cooler possibly things
  1. What type of thermal paste are you using?
Do you have a budget in mind for cooling?
How are your case fans set up location ect

    Arctic Silver 5

    Under $100

    Set up facing the CPU

There are several top rated air coolers

Also the closed loop water coolers work very good for the same price without the bulk and weight.
