I just recently got a R7 260x and I decided to rerun 3D Mark and the scores don't make any sense. I have that R7 260X with a FX6300 with the turbo set to 4.3 Ghz and 8 gigs of RAM and yet I only have a 1198 on the FireStrike test which is a third of their "Gaming Laptop". This doesn't make any sense when their benchmark only has 4 slow cores at 2.7 Ghz and the graphics card ,while it has 2 gigs of memory, only runs at 300 Mhz. With this system I was expecting to get to at least the gaming laptop. Here is the link to my score http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/2074516 . I would really appreciate any help on figuring this out.

what doesn't make any sense is you comparing your desktop to a laptop score... compare you score to similar systems. that is how you benchmark... and its a 3D benchmark so it is hardly accurate.

How many times have you run the benchmark? Your score shows the the turbo 1400?

I have now run it 3 times and the score jumped up to 3500 but shouldn't it still be higher than that? It does say that that is the turbo speed but I changed the multiplier to 4.3 Ghz so I don't know where that cam from. I have had some problems with the card not going into "performance mode" and it will only run the core at 300 mhz but after a restart it is fixed. Maybe it is teething problems with the driver because this is a relatively new card?
