Hi guys love the site by the way and all the support so im getting an asus maximus iv exteme and I have a i5 3750k 3.4 ghz can ne one help me on what gpu,ram,power supply,cooling supply,hdd or ssd,and other components I may need just like brands and such all replys are greatly appreciated thanks guys and its a (rev 3) p67 asus.

Budget is around 800$ I already have the board I got it for 70 on a good deal from a guy that upgraded ill be paying around 190 for the cpu which isn't bad I thought but let me know if it is lol...and is the ssd worth the money is it that much faster or just a little faster?

No I wouldn't bother with an SSD with your $800 budget but i've added it in there incase you do want it for your OS.

I already have the i5 a brand new one I won the bid on ebay for 180 its a 3750k ivy bridge that is better than the one you listed above correct? and why not go whit the radeon sapphire 7970 for the price of that one I seen them on ebay for about 320 also and I think im leaning towards 16gbs of ram and building a custom case of some sorts but I can get the 16 gbs of ram its ripjaws 16gm 1600 pc3 ddr3 for 125 new what do you think I got a burner already also its sata and what about cooling I am definatley going to be wanting to overclock just not sure how much...what do you think I can get the i5 3750 3.4 up to overclocking?

For gaming you dont need 16gb and if you were planning on doing editing an $800 build won't do any good with that processor. If you want to overclock get the cooler master evo 212

ok guys appreciate all the answers and quick replys so many answers that are right not sure which to pick for the solution and really im building for overclocking and gaming is my second priority once I get a nice stable overclock can anyone point me towards a good overclocking guide for my board and processor and I will pick that as the solution thanks
