Hey there everyone. So recently my Seasonic 620W PSU's fan started making a big racket, and so instead of doing an RMA and all that nonsense I just decided it would be a good time to upgrade.

What I'm looking for is something modular within the 700-800W range, preferably no higher than $200 and 80+ Bronze or higher. If putting extra money into is worth the investment than by all means post it!

And please, please please please please, if you can find it in your heart to find one that has long cables for full tower cases as well, I really need it.

Computer Specs:

- Asus P8Z77 -V PRO
- Intel Core i5-3570k
- Sapphire Radeon HD 7850
- G.SKILL Ripjaw 2 x 4 GB
- Fractal Design Arc Midi R2 (planning to upgrade to a full tower soon)

I'm a big PC gamer so that's why I would like the high wattage for upgrades in the future. Thank you very much!

If you want fully modular, you could go with this, as its currently on sale(not that it matters, even at its normal price, its still $200):

The Corsair AX PSU have a good reputation, and a great RMA warranty(7 years)

Since its 860W, you have some extra power for a future upgrade, as you said.

Im not sure about the cable lengths though, you would have to have a scout around.

Hm, it's interesting how Corsair has gone for the sleeved cables. Do you have any comments regarding that? Are they really stiff, or are they easier to work with compared to single sleeved? Thanks for the suggestion!

Well i have the HX750, which is semi modular, keeping the 24 pin and 8 pin connectors permanantly attached. All of the cables, (excluding the sata and molex cables), are sleeved. I dont mind, and dont really notice.

The sleeved cables soon ease up after you move them around a bit. The biggest thing for me has been that my GPU power ports face outwards, and at first the cables stuck straight out and nearly blocked my side fan.

I just gently curved them down, and now they arent nearly as bad.

I've done a little more digging into the AX860, and it seems like A LOT of people are having coil whine troubles with it. I don't know if I would want to buy it and cross my fingers hoping it won't happen to me. Would you have any others that you could suggest to me? If you don't mind.
