I need two HD Audio connectors, but my motherboard only has one. It looks like the AAFP dock is for HD Audio. I found a y-splitter that should do the trick, but before I buy it I'd like someone to confirm that it's what I need. Also, if I have to modify the cable some instructions would be nice.

Here's a link for the cable.

I want to connect the Audio from this case and this fan controller to this mobo.

-Thanks

Why do you need two?

The motherboard HD-Audio connector goes to the front for headphones, and you can connect your desktop speakers directly to the motherboard at the rear.

Mainly to satisfy an OCD itch; no dock should be left unconnected.
