Hi everyone, I recently got a Core i7-4770k and a new motherboard and I decided to re-install Windows 7. I re-installed it and everything went smoothly. I've installed Steam, Skype, Spotify, Corsair Link, Firefox, Speccy, and a few of my games to my system. I've also used RealTemp & CoreTemp to monitor my temps. I opended Windows Update and saw that I needed to install around 140 updates (the usual after installing Windows). I proceeded to install them and around 5 minutes later I get a "Some updates were not installed" error message. I got the error codes: 80070216; 216; and 9C57. I've tried re-booting and doing a full Malware scan with MSE, but nothing seems to fix the problem. I'm going to re-install Windows 7 Pro now but I'd like to know what caused this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you do the Win updates only do about 10 at a time, trying to do a bunch at once sometimes ends up with a couple of them that conflict with each other - if any in a given group of say 10 fail, then go back and do those 10 1 at a time

Weird, when I re-installed Windows I had no issue installing 143 important and around 13 optional at once. I'm thinking I had a virus (don't ask me how) on the old 7 installation.
