i want know which one lasts longer, whether its 500$ or the 1000$ one , i know 1000$ one gives best output, but i just want it to be playable, so will 500$ lasts longer than 1000$ or less than it . please discuss and tell me if so , will it be intel or amd platform. just trying to save money
500$ or 1000$ cpu , which one lasts longer in gaming field

with today cpu dropping every 12 months it not worth buying the 1000 cpu anymore. if your doing two card sli or crossfire the i7 4770k is fine on 1150 mb. if your going to do 3-4 way sli or crossfire then wait for the haswell-e cpu and mb. with the newer mb and cpu you have a few years before intel kills off that slot.
