Need help overclocking FX-6300 with 990FXA-UD3 Rev 4.0 [NOOB]

I have no idea what I am doing, and what I should do, can anyone tell me what settings to enable, etc on the bios. I clearly have not done anything like this before, and this will be my first time doing so. Could anyone give me some tips on how I should start with this?

Specs:
AMD FX-6300
CM 212 EVO Cooler
990FXA-UD3 Rev. 4.0 MOBO
8GB 1600MHZ Corsair Vengeance RAM
64 GB Crucial M4 SSD Sata III
640 GB WD 7200 RPM HDD
GTS 450 GFX CARD

My current temps on my CPU is 14 C on idle on HWMonitor.

Will the first link work on my MOBO since it's a Gigabyte and that guide is for ASUS?
