Painting (or decal-ing) RAM heatsink - okay or not?

In working on the aesthetics of my build, the idea of heatsinks on the RAM popped into my head. I looked it up and found some on Newegg (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835119015). However, as this is more for aesthetics than anything, I would like the paint the now black heatsinks green. Is this okay to do or will it screw something (what, I'm not sure) up? My assumption would be that it would be okay. Thanks:)

For the most part the heatsinks on RAM are more for aesthetics than functionality anyway so you should have no problem painting them. In fact, I've seen a few mods where this has been done and it turned out quite nicely.
