Installed a new videocard upgraded from radeon hd 4850 to a radeon hd 7850. Everything loads like normal then after the windows bar with the green scrolling bar the screen turns black i hear throught the audio the log in and windows loaded but it doesnt recognize the gpu.
Currently running on a dell xps 450mt everything is factory exceot for ram which i upgraded to 12 gb long time ago and 800watt power supply
The old card works but not the new one ive uninstalled all the old software before putting in the new one.. ive been pretty frustrated idk if its the motherboard or a defective card anyone got any ideas to fix?
