It is all trial and error, start off with 4.0ghz and run Prime95 for 3 hours while monitoring temperatures.

I am curious about this two. My new computer should be arriving in two days (1/2/14), and I paid extra for them to overclock it slightly at the factory (it was like $7, so I figured, what the hell). I have an i5-4670K and an Asetek 510LC 120mm closed loop system, with a single fan. I don't yet know the idle temperatures.

Knowing how to do it (I don't) and what to overclock to (Nope their) would be great.
