HI all,
I got a GTX650 as a gift from my cousin .
that made me think to upgrade my pc .
specs are
1. p5g41t-mlx asus mother board
2. 4gb ram
3. 8400gs card 1gb
4. some kind of psu that i definitely need to buy.
5. 500gb storage
6. DUal core pentium E5500, 2.8 GHz
need suggestion for a cabinet too.
Things to keep things need to b replaced and shud use the full power of GTX 650 . i know its a medium level card.
suggestion should b based on playing upcoming games . As i'm very much interested in BF$ and Titanfall.

Solution

Honestly an i3 is not good for upcoming games. Nowdays, the more cores you have, the better it is as games are starting to utilize more of it especially with the next gen consoles having 8. And the i3 would really struggle in bf3/bf4 multiplayer and more demanding games like crisis 3

Looking at your budget, I put together a list...

Well unless you can find a used core 2 quad processor like a Q9650, then it should be fine with that card. You wont get it brand new because it has reached its shelf life, though I would recommend a motherboard upgrade if you want the new generation processors

Whats your budget?

Looking at your budget, I put together a list of components

CPU: AMD 3.5 GHz AM3+ FX 8320 8 Core Piledriver Processor.....................http://

Motherboard: ASUS M5A97....................http://

PSU: Corsair SMPS CX500 500 Watts PSU...........................http://

Also added a cooler which is not really needed but the stock coolers from AMD are a bit crappy, but you can always exclude it if you want to. Note, that it is needed if you plan on overclocking

Cooler: http://

Estimated Total: Rs. 22210 (Excluding deliveries, I think)

I couldn't find a case as they are all sold out, so I'll leave that to you. Look for any atx mid tower case with good ventillation

And that should set you up nicely for all upcoming games, though try and get your ram up to 8gb if you can

Yes big difference, the VS series are corsairs low end psu's more suited to office use rather than gaming. Besides it is not 80+ certified and certification is very important when choosing a gaming psu. Stick with the CX :)
