Is my CPU the problem or is it something else?

I recently bought a AMD Fx 8350 CPU and a GTX 660 TI and am getting lower frames than my friends who have the same exact gpu. Although my friend has a different CPU. He has an i7 3770 CPU and that is pretty much the only difference. When we play Battlefield 4 he gets 60 frames consistent while I only get 45-50. It's not a big difference but it's something that has been on my mind today. Also when we play other games it's the same problem. Thanks for helping

The 3770 is stronger than a 8350, would also guess he may have more and/or faster DRAM, but even if the same type and amount the Intel has a much stronger MC and utilizes DRAM much better...Might want to OC the 8350 which may help some....make sure you have the latest BIOS on your mobo, which could help
