I know this question has been asked before, but the power supply the other person was getting was a very good brand. The power supply I am getting is just a standard ATX PSU, with a 1 x 120mm fan. The computer I am using now seems to have a wattage problem, and I don't want the same problem happening with me.

Yes a good branded 500w psu would be suffice for a gtx 760.

What branded psu are you purchasing? Are you able to link me? If not how much are you paying for it? Also what's the warranty on the psu

I don't know what brand it is. If you want to see it, I bought the computer off of this website: http://www.ibuypower.com/Store/Holiday-Paladin-Special
And the chosen psu is the one that I got. It just says 500W-Standard, and trying to get more info just says that it is an ATX psu.

It must be an offbrand then. However I would recommend changing to a different brand if you don't want to risk shortages.

I will have to do that at a later point. If it becomes a problem, I will try to bring it up and get it replaced, but my father will complain if I have to change something as soon as I get it.

Yes i understand, because the problem with offbrands, they say that supply 500w but in reality don't supply near 500w. You should be ok though.

I hope so. Because, if not, my dad will get pissed at me for it "never being enough".
