I have an msi Z77MA-G45 motherboard, an Intel core i5 3570k, an Asus Ge force GTX 660 DirectCU2 OC ,16 GB of patriot viper 1600 MHZ ram DDR3, and (this is what i thinks the problem) ,and a 880W no name brand its like a gamer series or cool power (not cooler master though) PSU. I've had this system for a while and i thought it was under performing so i played some farcry 3 with razer game booster and i had the little FPS thingy on and no matter what settings i had it on low or high it didnt even break 22 FPS,so i looked up a video of someone with a 3570 k and a gtx 660 and he said he was getting about a constant 50 FPS without fraps on. So im wondering if im being bottlenecked by something. Thanks in advance. (link to the video i was talking about.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3xc6BjgQhlY

Update the bios. This is probably the last option to explore!

Look at the msi site for the "how to" and make sure you do that properly. If it goes wrong you might "brick" your motherboard. It's always a good thing when doing this to use the bios way and also put the current bios on the usb stick (when used) so you could still try that one when the new doesn't get accepted.

Update the drivers.Maybe first remove the old first, you could use the next for that,
http://treexy.com/products/driver-fusion
first remove the most via device manager and clean up the remaining with this program.

For more info about the specs on the psu look at the sticker on the side and give us at least the total amp. on the +12 voltrail.
You could check the voltages with the next program,
hwinfo32
open it,check=V sensors and click run.In the next window you will find all sorts of info about values of the pc like temps, but also the voltages.
The positive rails should be within 5% and the negative within 10%.Like with the +12 voltrail should be between 11.4<->12.6V.

I just update my GPU driver last night, ill go in and update everything else later today. And there shouldn't be any background programs running, because i usually have Razer game booster on. I've never heard of the brand its like a gamer series or something, the fan on it doesn't work so im going to open up my case later tonight to look at it and probably clean everything out and rewire everything. I also have no idea about PSUs.
