Last night, my windows works fine. I messed with the resolution and now I have two monitor thingy. I don't think that has to do with anything but, the next day, nothing opens except for my browser and folders and Paint.net. The other apps don't work such as Steam, Skype, Task Manager. And when I do CRTL+ALT+DEL it goes black until I press ESC. This is really annoying since I just got Windows 8. The apps do open, but they never, ever show up on the desktop. Please help!
