Ok, so I've been thinking of removing both the SSD and HDD drive cages in my 350D for better airflow and aesthetics. Having 2 Corsair AF-140mm LED Fans unobstructed at the front bathing my case in a red ambiance is giving me a semi….
I've seen a previous 350D build with 1xSSD mounted at the back where the cable management take place, but I can see no mounting holes for this. How was this achieved? Is it simply a case of finding strong double sided sticky tape and whacking it in there? I know they are much more robust than HDDs due to not having moving parts, but would it hold ok in the longterm?
And finally, if the above IS POSSIBLE - could you theoretically mount even more 2.5" drives at the back? As I'm planning on having the SSD as the OS/Boot drive, a 2nd 500GB SSD (or 1TB 2.5" HDD) for Games/Storage and possibly a 3rd 2.5" HDD drive for backing everything up?
Thanks for your help!
