My E7400 is running at stock speed but still gets overheated. No load temperature is about 48-50 degree Celsius.
I was running Crysis 2 at ultra setting [My reso is very low 1368*768] and noticed the core temperature was 94 degrees.
Astounded I closed the game.
I recently added a 2GB DDR2 Ram stick,GTX 650 ti and a Corsair VS450 PSU. And my cabinet is rather lame and low end so I had to install the PSU with it exaust inside the cabinet.
Is this the problem?
I read everywhere and came up with two solutions:
Reapply a good thermal paste and buy an after cooler market or buy a cabinet and reapply the stock thermal paste.
I'm on a budget so can't do both. Please if the problem is something else let me know.
Its only 3 days since GPU upgrade and I can't play anything. :@

My choices for cabinet and cooler.

your cpu struggles keeping up with your new gpu.if you monitor your cpu usage you ill see is skyrocketing!check your towers ventilation if its good.the cpu cooler its probably stuffed with dust.if problem persists reapply thermal compound between cpu and cpu cooler!

I removed dust and cleaned it. Okay then I'll first try applying thermal paste and re-seating it again.

Yeah I know that and that's why my next upgrade is processor and motherboard.
Any ways thank you for your reply.
