i have an evdo dongle which works perfect on win 7
bt when in win 8 in my system (prior to a friend's system with win 8 where it worked fine) :
first time detected > installed driver
after that when reconnected device manually, it seems to be not connecting completely.
i mean in win7 i've heard sounds of detecting/ejecting devices.
on connecting the dongle it should make the same series of sounds of detecting & ejecting devices... but it doesnt make the last detecting sound...
what i want to know if there are some services like telephony etc which might be disabled/etc and hence be interfering. Or its simply a driver issue(but didnt find any clue of it in device manager).
Any help?
