Hi. Just got £175 ($290) in amazon vouchers.

I had previously planned to buy an h100i and a gelid icy vision 2 but now I'm wondering if the community can offer better suggestions.

I'd be happy to add £50 of my own to give a total around £225.

I need to cool an R9 290x and an 8350 on a sabertooth 990fx.

Could I do a full water solution for the budget? If so what would you recommend?

My preference is silence over speed but will naturally over clock as well.

Just reading through the water cooling sticky but thought I'd put it out there to others.

Thanks in advance.

How about the Cooler Master Eisberg 240L Prestige? It is only 20.5dbA with a fan RPM of 1600.

For £200 you can do a basic loop for your CPU, with something like a XSPC RayStorm 750 kit, but there is pretty much no chance of finding a solution which can cool the 290X too.
A decent water block for the 290X comes in at around £80-100 and that basically destroys your budget.

What might be possible, if the graphics card is a concern, is something like the NZXT Kraken G10 and two AIOs which would sorta simulate a full loop and give you a bit more control over where the heat ends up. I don't really have any knowledge of how good the performance is though as it's pretty new. Have heard mutterings of people using them on 290Xs though.

Thanks very much. Looks like for this specialist stuff I'm going to hit limitations given I can only shop on amazon.
