Hey everyone. And a happy new year!
About 3 weeks ago I bought myself a Sapphire GHz OC edition. I was trying to overclock it a bit so it would make even a bigger difference than the factory pre-overclocked settings:

1100 core clock
1250 memory clock
1175 voltage

I've set my power control to 15% in the Catalyst center.
I'm using Trixx utility to do the overclocking, and managed to get it stable at:

1150 core clock
1400 memory clock
1175 voltage - I won't touch that because I'm aware that inexperienced voltage handling may cause card damage.

So I've seen that people managed much higher clocks: http://hexus.net/tech/reviews/graphics/35221-sapphire-r...

So, anyone can explain briefly what do I have to do to get to these clocks, if possible at all? If you would need my system specs i'll post them.

hi there and happy new year!
well, since you cant keep it stable in any higher state that means you must increace voltage.the site you posted though states that the cards stock voltage is 1.225v higher than yours. are you sure we are talking about the same card? ghz edition with non ghz edition still have some minor differences. i have sapphire 7970 dualx oc and differs from the ghz edition

I have this card: http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/?cid=1...
The stock frequencies match mine in GPU-Z. No idea how it's on 1150 stock core clock at your link..

When testing at 1150 core clock - 1400 memory it's crashing so I'm downclocking ti to 1125 core - 1400 memory.

as i said increasing voltage for further o/c is the only way.proceed with increases of 0.005v at a time and monitor temps.always stay under 85c.

It's weird tho when I reset the setting in Trixx the voltage goes back to 1.175. Means my stock voltage really is 1.175
I'll try changing it and hope for the best...
