Monitor and Graphics Card incompatible?

its was already ok for the first 5 months but one day it did turn out to be incompatible with my hd 5450 powercolor GC with Samsung syncmaster SA100.. can anyone help me?

And that's both on the vga connector? And it doesn't display anything or at least an error message, like 'out of sync' or' no signal'. Did you test your monitor on your friends PC as well? Beside that, I assume you bought this monitor used, because it is a fairly old model. It might simple be dead.

yes.. it worked for almost 5 months but suddenly it does not display anything anymore.. i tried my friends monitor and it does work.. but for Syncmaster SA100(samsung) it does not have display..

i think a found an answer but cant acquire it.. can i ask for something ? may be an old version of driver for hd 5450 ddr3 1g powercolor video card.. because i think that when that driver updates its the reason for no display... it tell no signal.. by the way im still using the monitor via onboard graphics
