Hello all. I was thinking and looking info for this but I've decided to ask here about this. I would like to get some guidance in which graphic card would be better for my system.

The specs:
Core 2 Duo CPU E8500 @ 3.16GHz
6 GB DDR3 RAM
G41MT-S2PT Gigabyte MB.

I currently have a Gigabyte Geforce GT440 and this card is not enough to have a decent average FPS rate, say around 45-50 in games like, ex: Skyrim. Right now I'm not looking for a full system upgrade because this meets my requirements. I'm not a heavy gamer but I'm looking for a better graphics experience.

So, I'm looking for a card that has good affinity with my setup and minimal or zero bottleneck. It would have to be with VGA port because of my monitor.

Thanks in advance.

I like the HD 7770, is the one I saw most people recomending it while browsing for info, it goes nice and seems it doesn't requires much power. From what I I read is right there are 24 Watts of difference between my card and the 7770 GDDR5.

@Scremin34: I got an output of 300W

300 watts it too low for a 7770 and since its most likely a generic, it probably wont output the full 300 watts. Plus you need a 6 pin connector which I doubt your psu has

I would recommend a corsair cx430 for the 7770

The most I would go with your psu is a 7750

I see, I was thinking about that also, my PSU is not strong enough. Maybe I won't buy that one you recommend me, I see it too expensive for a 450w psu... I'll look for a cheaper one. I'll update this once I'm close to buy the 7770.

Okay. I could choose over these two models.

Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 1GB GDDR5 with OC to 1100. I like this one.
Gigabyte Radeon HD 7770 1GB GDDR5 with OC to 1075 MHz. This one is a bit cheaper.

Which one should I choose?

Honestly I would go with the cheapest one, but since the sapphire, which I think the one you are referring to is the Vapor-X edition (not sure), then it should have a better cooler than the gigabyte. If the price difference is not that big, then go with the sapphire

The slight overclock wont make a difference

If you can afford it, a 7790 would be better, http://

Not the vapor-x, I was refering to this one http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/product_index.aspx?cid=1&gid=3&sgid=1159&pid=1452&&lid=1

But after doing some research and the last one you recommended me, the 7790, I think I've made my choice. Now a new doubt arises.... not that I cannot stretch a little more and get the 7790, is that, for a little more I can get the 2GB version of the card (Asus Radeon HD 7790 DirectCU II OC) but my question is: does 1GB more makes any difference? because this review and it's different tests say it's not: AMD Radeon HD 7790 2GB review: does another 1GB make a difference?

hmm...:??:

Oh and if someone owns this card or a very similar one, could you please tell me the exact height of the card? some sites say 3,81 cm or 1.5 " Inch and others a little more. Thanks.

The 2gb version will only benefit at resolutions higher than 1080p. Theirs basically no difference in performance at resolutions less than that. If the difference in the price is not that big, then go with the 2gb, else stick with the 1gb version

I see... well, actually there's a difference of €17 in the shop here... so I think I'm going for the 2GB one. Also that card will work for me in the near future when I could afford for a CPU and motherboard upgrade.

Thanks for your help Scremin34Egl :)
