If your MB has a PCI-E slot and if you have a decent PSU with 6 pin supplementary connectors then go with HD 7770/7790, else go with this one : But I think you better upgrade the CPU/MB, its too old for anything.

What are you trying to do with your computer? Honestly it is most likely time to upgrade. I myself like to use old tech but even I had to admit my single core cpu was not useful anymore.
If you just want to upgrade the graphics card for playing old games then you need to check to see if your computer has an open PCI-E slot. That sounds old enough that it may even be an AGP slot.

It depends on what OP is trying to achieve really. If the system works for them then it doesn't need to be replaced.
