More about pick build review
  1. I changed the power supply to a better one:)

How much of a beast do you want it to be? What games will you play?
It's not a bad graphics card but something more powerful would be better
  2. good overall but if you want to play games on ultra 1080 you should consider getting a gtx 770
  3. I'm trying to keep it as cheap as possible at around 1300........ I want it mainly for video editing. And music production. I was going to get a Ps4 aswell but then thought might as well just go to game on pc if I'm spending this much on it. That new power supply is only a bronze I wanted gold as need to save electric.
  4. If editing 4k vids you may want a larger SSD depending on the size of the files and number you will be working on at any one time. You will want your work in progress files on your SSD and then move to HDD when complete.
  5. Okay this power supply is very very good.

You might not have have heard of the brand because they rarely sell under their own name(produce for other companies) but they make some of the best power supplies available.
  6. UPDATE NEW BUILD I've listened and stepped up her it is.http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/2tKKa
  7. It won't be 4 k all the while but will look into getting big will look now
  8. Your newest edit has a motherboard you can't overclock on and an unlocked CPU !

  10. Yes i use Gigabyte boards. They are very good. I will have a look for board and post back:)

thanks mate your a legend , im now stuck on which one is beter on gpu either

EVGA GeForce GTX 760 Dual FTW With EVGA ACX Cooler 4GB 256-Bit DDR5

or as the same friend sugested a nvidia one

Gigabyte Nvidia GTX760 4GB DDR5 Triangle Cool PCI-E Graphics Card

they the same ge force 760 but dont know which one better the latter is cheaper
  12. The Gigabyte has better cooling but they are usually very long cards and some people buy them and then realize they don't fit in the case:LOL:

    How much are those cards?
I would choose something different than either of those
  13. its anything jay because the web site says there compatible surely they should show that its not in that way ight message the and say
  14. Partpicker shows what components are compatible but not always the cards vs case compatibility

    I will check for you:)

These cards are very good as well. The cooling is quiet and superb:D

    right

EVGA is £264 ish and the nvdia is £23 ish pounds cheaper
  17. The one i recommended is £243.31 .
My last graphics card was a Msi Twin Frozr and it was very well built with an excellent cooler.
I regret not having bought Msi Twin Frozr cards for my new ones
  18. At the end of the day the GTX760's are all Nvidia chips with just different boards and cooling solutions so it's up to you.

what you got as your new one ?
  20. I have two HIS Radeon R9 270X IceQ X2 Boost 2048MB cards running in crossfire configuration.
I get awesome performance from them and play Battlefield 4 in 1920x1080 with ultra settings and 2 x MSAA.
The only downside is that i can just faintly hear them if i am trying to sleep with my computer on.
  21. I like the Zalman and considered it myself.
I decided on this though as i wanted something a little more sleek.
  22. wow im loving the case do they do it in white >? also on the gpu side of things look what i have discovered makes me want to re think what you said http://img.hexus.net/v2/graphics_cards/nvidia/msi/n760gamer/3DOC.png
  23. Well whatever card you choose is up to you:)
The Gigabyte cards are very good. I only meant the Twin Frozr cards were very quiet.
They don't do that case in white:(
I can only think of one good looking white case at the moment as i always think a case with a good cooling set up is very important especially for overclocking. Let me know what you think of this:D

would it be better to have two of these set up like yours ?

    will be cheaper too

very nice less in your face but still has a lovely look to it whats the link for it so can check it out
    please
  26. I would stick with the GTX760 if i were you. Not all games support Sli or Crossfire.
The only reason i bought 2 graphics cards this time was because i had never tried a dual card set up before and wanted to see how it would perform.
I also specifically bought 2 AMD 270x's so i would have AMD's Mantle supported cards for Battlefield 4.
Mantle will not be supported on Nvidia cards at least for the foreseeable future.
  27. i will be getting this cpu cooling fan its just not on that site is it compatible http://www.amazon.co.uk/Arctic-Cooling-Freezer-CPU-Cooler/dp/B0048F64DU

would that card be just as gd as your gpu set up then ? because i want to play call of duty ghost on the best settings available for as long as possible on line no problems
also want to record my game too so would need the power to do that
  29. whats your take on the cpu cooling fan is that good enough just been looking on web to see and its advised this best one http://www.amazon.co.uk/noctua-NH-U14S/dp/B00C76WV3O/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_t

will there be much diffrence to the this one i want to get

  30. The Noctua is a lot better. They make awesome cooling solutions.
As for you graphics set up it is good but not as good as my 2 AMD 270x's.

  32. It is better for gaming:)
The graphics card is a Nvidia 780 which is very powerful:D

Yeah I will get a 1080 monitor. I have now changed this to a gtx 770 and also created one with an I5 and a gtx 780 now deciding what one to go for what you reckon
